Device Technologies, Inc. (DTi) started in an old farmhouse basement in 1984. It expanded to a New England barn and is now in a 1900 sq. meter climate-controlled Class A facility. In 2018, DTi expanded into Europe with a subsidiary based in Hamburg, DTi GmbH.
Our first solution was providing Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP) with a UL94 V-0 Spring-Fast® Wire Protection Grommet Edging for their premier VAX Mainframe computer. It protected the wiring, created installation cost savings, eliminated toxic adhesives & solvents – while providing best-in-class performance.
From this humble beginning, the high-performance Spring-Fast® grommet edging brand has grown and qualified for use in such high-stress environments as aerospace, rail, auto, and marine due to its resistance to: high and low temperatures, salt spray, chemical immersion, shock, vibration, and high dielectric insulation.
